The Béoutis family originates from the Southwestern region of France known as Les Landes, more precisely from the area around the villages of Morcenx, Rion-des-Landes and Vert.Family tradition claims that all the different branches currently in France and in Peru originated from a single individual nicknamed "The Spaniard" who moved from Spain to France during the first half of the XVIII th century. This is consistent with the information currently available, as there are some details of individuals named Béoutis in the greater South West of France
The descendant tree integrates all Béoutis known to Marc as of 29 September 1997. The list at the bottom contains the names of persons whose name is also Béoutis, but who, at this time, cannot be attached to one of the known branches.
